Vodafone-Idea's Master Plan to Hit Jio, Will Invest On The Network

According to the telecom company Vodafone Idea, it is planned to raise Rs 250000 crore through the rights issue. The promoters of the company, Vodafone Group and Aditya Birla, have expressed their desire to contribute 11000 crores and Rs. 7250 crores on their participation in a proposed rights issue, showing their commitment to the Board of Directors.
The company has also been consoled to shareholders that if a piece of the rights issue is not sold, then it has already acquired the right to buy that part or part of it.
Steady decline in profits

The loss of 5,005.7 crores has been completed when the completion of December 2018 of the current fiscal year. During the first quarter of the year, the company had lost Rs 1,284.5 crore.
